Tencent PaaS platform servers usually plan hostnames for hosts according to the enterprise's host naming rules before platform deployment. However, in the actual implementation work, hostnames may not be planned or set incorrectly during platform deployment. Therefore, you need to modify the host name after the Tencent PaaS platform is deployed. Then how to modify the hostname of the platform server, how to modify the hostname does not affect the operation of the platform, this paper uses an actual case to illustrate this problem.

Note: this case uses Tencent PaaS Enterprise Edition 2.5.0.14

Rabbitmq role hostname modification Rabbitmq is planned as a dual-machine deployment in Tencent PaaS platform Enterprise Edition deployment. If you modify the host directly, Rabbitmq will not be able to start.

The correct steps to modify the Rabbitmq cluster hostname are as follows:

STEP 1

Modify the hostname using the command hostnamectl set-hostname hostname.

STEP 2

Use the command vim / etc/hosts to modify the resolution of the host name, with special attention to the need to retain the resolution of the old host name. Canceling the resolution of the old hostname will cause the rabbitmq service to fail to start.

STEP 3

Restart rabbitmq.

Stop the rabbitmq service, stop the slave node first, and then stop the master node.

Start the rabbitmq service, first the master node, and then the slave node.

Other role hostname modification is relatively simple. Compared with rabbitmq role modification hostname modification, there is no need to keep the resolution record of the old hostname in / etc/hosts, as follows:
