Recently, I encountered some problems in the process of migrating data from Oracle to MySQL, including the display of garbled Chinese characters.

After the data is imported successfully, the content of the Chinese field cannot be displayed properly. Later, it was found that the character set setting on the client side was correct, and the character set setting on the server side did not support Chinese characters.

Later, after testing, we found that we can solve this problem in three ways, from low to high:

1. Test environment Windows Server 2008 r2+MySQL Community Server (GPL) 5.7.16 I tested under the Windows Server 2008 R2 environment and created the test database hoegh.
