Cisco configuration mode utility command line (switch is the model):

Enable-- > enter privileged mode; Switch#

Disable-- > return to user mode; Switch >

Configure terminal-- > enter global configuration mode; Switch (config) #

Configuration habits:

After the configuration is checked correctly

Save running-config (running configuration file) to startup-config (startup configuration file) Switch# write

Or:

Switch# copy running-config start-config

Delete the configuration file (device resumes factory settings):

Principle: delete startup configuration file

Implementation: ringing erase startup-config or ringing delete nvram:startup-config

Note: erase is the equivalent of the format command and deletes all files on the defined storage media; erase flash must not be allowed.

Supplement to the order:

Switch# dir Switch# dir / all View File Storage path

Switch# show users to see which users are logged in on the local device

Switch# clear line (number) clears specific users

Switch# show session view sessions initiated by the local device

Switch# resume {id} quickly switch between different sessions

Switch#disconnect / resume {id} disconnect / resume the specified session

Switch# reload restarts the router device

Switch# show users to view the device's current logged-in user

The Ctrl+A cursor returns to the front of the command line

The Ctrl+E cursor goes back to the back of the command line

Ctrl + Shift + 6, X jumps back to the local device
