Exchange 2016 CU9 has been released to the Microsoft download Center! Friends can download it by themselves if they need it. Exchange 2016 has a different service strategy than Exchange 2007 UR 2010, using the cumulative update (CU) patch instead of the previously used summary update (RU / UR). CU is a full installation of Exchange 2016 and can be used to install new servers or update previously installed servers. Exchange 2013 has the same service method. This release includes all previously released updates, fixes problems reported by customers, and new features.

This is Exchange 2016 version 15.01.1466.003, and this CU update is named: ExchangeServer2016-x64-CU9.iso, which makes it easy to identify the installation, which feels great. Details of this version are included in KB 4055222

It is worth noting that local Exchange 2007 products are no longer supported, installation convention, once the product is out of the life cycle, Microsoft will not provide patch updates

Exchange Server fully supports TLS 1.2 protocol.

With the update in March 2018, Exchange fully supports TLS1.2 on all supported Exchange versions. If customers want to implement TLS1.2, it is recommended to read the release guide first. Details can be found here.

Support for .NET Framework 4.7.1

.net framework 4.7.1 is fully supported. This is currently an optional project, and starting with the quarterly version in June 2018, the installation of Exchange Server 2013 and 2016 will require .NET Framework 4.7.1. It is recommended that customers plan to upgrade to .Exchange Server 4.7.1 to avoid blocking the installation of the June 2018 quarterly versions of Exchange Server 2013 and 2016.

Active Directory forest functional level

Based on the Active Directory forest functional level of Exchange Server 2016, it is announced that Exchange Server 2016 will enforce the minimum 2008R2 forest functional level requirements of Active Directory. Cumulative Update 7 of Exchange Server 2016 begins to implement this AD DS requirement.
