mount /dev/cdrom /mnt

modify the configuration file

vi /etc/yum.repos.d/local.repo

[Server]name=serverbaseurl=file:///mntenabled=1gpgcheck=

Clean up old configuration information

yum clean all

Verify yum configuration is successful

yum repolist all

Load all software from yum source into cache

yum makecache
