Because I do not have oracle installed locally, the following configuration is required to connect to the server remotely with PL/SQL Developer:

1. Software preparation

Oracle client: instantclient-basic-win32-11.2.0.1.0.zip

PL/SQL software: PL/SQL_Developer.zip

Decompress the 2.oracle client and put it in D:\ OraclerProgram\ instantclient_11_2

Create a new file D:\ OraclerProgram\ instantclient_11_2\ network\ admin\ tnsnames.ora

Tnsnames.ora can copy $ORACLE_HOME\ network\ admin\ tnsnames.ora from the server and simply modify it.

Tnsnames.ora content:

ORCL =

(DESCRIPTION =

(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = 192.168.88.139) (PORT = 1521))

(CONNECT_DATA =

(SERVER = DEDICATED)

(SERVICE_NAME = orcl)

)

)

3.PL/SQL software installation, open after installation, add the oracle main directory name and the address of the OCI library

4. Once confirmed, restart PL/SQL to connect to the database. The server needs to start listening and oracle.
