In Hyper-V, there are three main forms of network.
External network (connect virtual machines to external networks)
Internal network (allows multiple virtual machines to connect internally, between multiple networks, and can also be isolated by Vlan)
Pirvate network (orphaned native network)
So, how can the virtual machine connect to the external network to work?
With the Hyper-V virtual machine turned off, select Virtual switch Manager in the Hyper-V management interface.
In the pop-up dialog box, "New Virtual Network switch", select "Internal", and click "create Virtual switch".
Name the virtual switch and click apply. After a short wait, you can see the newly added virtual switch on the left.
At this point, in Dashboard-Network and Internet- Network and sharing Center, you can see the following unrecognized links:
The following devices can also be seen under "change Adapter Settings":
This is the virtual switch just created.
Although there is a virtual appliance, the virtual machine still cannot be linked properly at this time.
Click the existing Internet link under the Network and sharing Center
Select Properties in the pop-up dialog box:
Switch to the "share" tab, check "allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" and select the virtual switch you just created-vEthernet (Hyper-V Switch) in "Home Network connection" below, and click OK.
At this point, enter "route print" in the command prompt running in administrator mode (right-click in the lower left corner of the screen and select "Command prompt Administrator") to find information about 192.168.1.1 in the IPv4 routing table:
Next, go to the Hyper-V virtual machine settings interface, under "hardware", in "Network Adapter", set "Virtual switch" to the Hyper-V Switch virtual switch that you just set up, and click "OK".
Restart the Hyper-V virtual machine at this time, and set it to "automatically obtain IP address" and "automatically obtain DNS server" in the TCP/IP protocol under the corresponding network connection.
If you use manual settings, set the IP address to "192.167.108.X", X to 2x255 any number, the subnet mask to "255.255.255.0", the default gateway to "192.168.137.1" and the DNS server to "192.168.137.1". Note that the gateway and DNS server here are Microsoft default, do not change if there is no need.
Once you are sure, you will find that the virtual machine is ready for network connection!
