Note:

Yum, Createrepo, and Reposync are Python scripts, and if an error like this occurs:

ImportError: No module named rpm

It may be that multiple versions of python are installed, and these commands need to be modified to point to the system default pyhton version, i.e./usr/bin/python2.4.

2.Reposync is used to synchronize a remote yum repository to a local directory using yum to retrieve the packages.

Reposync is used to synchronize remote YUM repositories to local directories, i.e. to fetch packages via yum, which is included in yum-utils. Of course, the wget -r command can do the same thing.
