Ever since Google announced the arrival of a stable version of Android 12 and put the source code on AOSP, the patching party has been held on XDA. However, unless you have a contemporary device like the OnePlus 9 Pro or the Samsung Galaxy S21, you will most likely have to wait months for your OEM to send the latest dessert to your phone.

But of course, this is where XDA, the largest collection of custom ROM communities, and many other aftermarket developments are located. Although OEM is limited by a number of factors, which limits their ability to provide timely updates, our community members can do a great job, giving other enthusiasts the opportunity to try out the latest version of Android on their phones, now! Admittedly, the early work of developers who underuse (and often do not exist) official resources cannot provide us with error-free ROM. But they do emphasize how a group of like-minded people can achieve great things wholeheartedly.

With the emergence of a large number of unofficial versions of custom ROM based on Android 12, we thought it a good idea to create an index of devices that could use the Android 12 port. Please note that these are unofficial versions and are likely to contain errors. Read the first few articles of each link thread so that you can understand the current state of the build before flashing on your phone.

Note: in this article, we will only provide a link to the first Android 12 custom ROM for a specific device we encounter. This is not an endorsement of a particular build, and we do not recommend ignoring the work of others. We are restricting the content we link to to prevent this article from becoming too long. Please visit the XDA forum on your device to see if other, possibly more complete versions are available.
