Add a new monitor

1. Execute the netca command, select "Listener configuration", and click Next

two。 Select "Add" and click Next

3. Enter the listener name and click Next

4. Select TCP protocol and click Next

5. Select the port number and click Next

6. Click Finish to complete the configuration

The creation is completed and can be seen on the terminal.

Second, create an instance

Note: you must first create a monitor, and the monitor is in the process of starting, otherwise an error is reported.

1. Execute the dbca command, launch the oracle instance installation interface, and click Next

two。 Select "Create a Database" and click Next

3. Select "Custom Database" and click Next

4. You need to fill in the sid previously written in the environment variable file and click Next

5. Uncheck the Configure Enterprise Manager check box and click Next.

6. You can select the Use Different Administrative Passwords (use different administrative passwords) option to use different passwords for these administrative accounts. For convenience, I select the Use the Same Administrative Password for All Accounts (use the same password for all accounts) option, enter and confirm the password, and then click Next.

7. Here we use the default value, click Next

8. Since I'm testing myself, I don't use quick recovery areas and archives, so uncheck the Specify Flash Recovery Area and Enable Archiving check boxes on this interface, and then click Next.

9. Check the "Enterprise Manager Repository" option and click Next

10. In the Initialization Parameters interface, you can specify some initialization parameters. In the Memory tab, you can specify the memory used by the Oracle database. In the Sizing tab, you can set the block size and the number of processes. In the Character Sets (character set) tab, you can select the character set, default language, and date format for this database. In the Connection Mode (connection mode) tab, you can specify the connection mode for the database. By default, Oracle uses Dedicated Server (dedicated server) mode. The only important thing to know at this stage is the character set and block size of the database. Select the appropriate character set and block size, leave the other initialization parameter sets by default, and you can optimize them later.

11. In the Database Storage (database storage) interface, you can specify the location of data files, control files, and redo log groups. You can also specify file location variables for data files and redo logs. When the settings are complete, click Next

twelve。 Check "Create Database" and click Finish to start creating the database (you can choose to generate a script to create the database according to your own needs)

13. Wait, die slowly.

You can directly click "Exit" to complete the creation of the database, or you can click "Password Management...", unlock the users you need in the pop-up window, and then click "OK".

14. After the database has been created, test whether the database has been created successfully. Use sqlplus / as sysdba (or sqlplus / nolog) and select * from dual; instructions to test
