Method 1:

Click start → run, enter "regedit" in the run dialog box to open the registry editor, and then select

"HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Control\ Session Manager" subkey

Then find the "BootExecute" key key in the right window and clear its value, and press the "F5" key to refresh the registry.

Method 2:

Select "start → run" and type "chkntfs / chkntfs 0" in the run dialog box to set the disk scan wait time to 0

If you want to ignore scanning a partition, such as disk C, when the computer starts, you can enter the "chkntfs / x c:" command

If you want to restore the scan of disk C, you can use the "chkntfs / d c:" command to restore all chkntfs default settings, except for the countdown to automatic file checking.
