Windows Server 2012 Network Discovery cannot be started (startup Network Discovery cannot be saved)

The specific location is in Control Panel\ Network and Internet\ Network and sharing Center\ Advanced sharing Settings

Click start Network Discovery, click Save

After saving, click Advanced sharing device Network sharing device is still off.

Solution:

Win+r startup run box, enter services.msc to enter the service console

Go to the service and start "Function Discovery Resource Publication", "SSDP Discovery" and "UPnP Device Host" (disabled by default).

The startup type is set to automatic and the service status is running

Network discovery can be enabled when three services are enabled.
