Virtual Keyboard in Windows 10 X! Do you want to have it?

Vivetool can be used to activate/deactivate some hidden features in Windows 10, but it has a premise that your Windows must be a development version (Dev version).

This article will take Windows 10 Dev Build 20190.1000 as an example to reveal two hidden features to you.

Unlock "Win10X Touch Keyboard"

1. Press the shortcut key Win+R and enter "winver" to ensure that the system version is higher than Windows 10 Build 20190;

2. Unzip the downloaded ViveTool, press and hold the Shift key, right-click the ViveTool folder, and then select "Open Powershell window here" to enter the command line state;

3. Paste the following code into the command line ".\ vivetool.exe addconfig 20438551 2", normally you will see a prompt of"Successfully set feature configuration", then restart the computer;

4. Enter the desktop again, right-click the taskbar to open "Show Touch Keyboard Button", then you can see the brand-new touch keyboard.

Compared with the current keyboard, the new touch keyboard is larger in size and better able to accommodate finger tapping.

You can also click on the "heart icon" in the upper left corner to experience its "signature" sensory input area.

There are several shortcut panels at the top of the input area, which can be used to switch between different emoji categories (emojia, character emoji, etc.), and even you can find the desired emoji directly through the search bar, which is much more convenient than the current version.

This feature is currently limited to UWP apps, and if you are using desktop music software, you will not see this panel.

In addition, this function is also related to the software used. For example, the Groove that comes with the system can display the cover, while the cool dog UWP cannot. This should be related to the compatibility of third-party manufacturers.
