Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--

Samsung posted more details about its 108 million-pixel ISOCELL Bright X sensor in its blog post and posted an accompanying video on its website. The South Korean company's hype about its camera sensor is nothing new, but it's interesting because the Galaxy S11 should use the sensor or its improved version on the main camera. So far, all leaks and reports are in progress.

Interestingly, although the next Galaxy flagship product will be released in at least a few months, the camera sensor made its debut in Mi Note 10 last month. It is worth mentioning that even when paired with the mid-range Snapdragon 730G chipset in Mi Note 10, the sensor has been proved to have excellent performance. We will learn about Samsung's real potential in matching sensors to flagship chipsets and top images. Processing in the upcoming flagship products.

The Samsung ISOCELL Bright X is the industry's first mobile image sensor with more than 100 million pixels, and the first phone with a larger 1.33-inch sensor. It has Smart-ISO technology, which can intelligently activate lower ISO in sunlight and higher ISO in weak light, thus achieving better dynamic range and lower noise.

The sensor uses Samsung's ISOCELL Plus pixel isolation technology to set up a barrier around each pixel to prevent color contamination of adjacent pixels (also known as pixel crosstalk). According to the company, this is a major improvement on previous sensors, which are prone to quality degradation due to crosstalk.

Samsung also said its Tetracell technology will combine four pixel clusters into one pixel, turning 0.8m pixels into 1.6m pixels, which will improve the performance of low-light-level cameras. It is worth pointing out that the company's other sensors have used the same technology, and the results do not seem to match the hype. We have to wait and see if Galaxy S11 will change that.

To be clear, Samsung has not officially confirmed that this will be the sensor used in the Galaxy S11, but there is growing evidence that this may be the case. All this hype about cameras makes its debut on competitors' devices, which illustrates this. The South Korean technology giant is expected to announce its next Galaxy flagship store in the third week of February. As the release date approaches, we can expect more details about the device and its camera features to appear online.
