Imagine if an enterprise directly uses Google Container Engine (GKE) as a standard platform for deploying container applications, while GKE requires every user to have a Google account, which is obviously not the standard practice for most enterprises. The Rancher,IT administrator can import the GKE cluster into Rancher using a single service account, and then authenticate other users with the enterprise's existing ActiveDirectory credentials.
