In the process of development of the deep operating system 15.6, in addition to developing new functions and improving the original functions, we repaired a total of 217 defects in the system without counting the defect repair work in the community. These defects are found in desktop environments, deep original applications, non-deep original applications and kernels, and file managers. There are 17 fatal defects, 18 serious defects, 152 general defects and 30 suggestive problems.

Known defects

There are still some problems in the system, some of which can not be reproduced by chance, and some are put forward by community users but we cannot reproduce them. Although these defects will not cause major problems, but we still want users to understand. On the one hand, we can predict the problems in the process of use in advance, on the other hand, we also hope that more community enthusiasts can move forward with us. These questions include:

Deep remote assistance sometimes does not work properly; in the boot kernel log, the kernel has an error of efi verification, but it does not affect the use; when switching languages, the system crashes easily; when the network is normal, the depth store can not show the interface; the taskbar may be unresponsive in some cases; the depth screenshot flatpak version cannot save the screenshot file in the non-user directory Looking at the picture in depth, there are performance problems when there are a large number of pictures. Summary of tests within the community

Before releasing the official version to the majority of users, the deep operating system usually conducts a test in a small area of the community, fixes the feedback problems of the community version before the official release, and records the feedback of the community. I would like to thank the community-based test team that contributed to the internal testing, who submitted a total of 15 changes and 52 defects, covering Bluetooth, switches, starters, etc. Of these, 11 amendments have been confirmed and 52 defects have been completely fixed.
