Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

By yesterday, the deployment of Exchange was almost complete, and today let's take a look at what needs to be done after deployment.

I. send connector

By default, Exchange 2013 does not allow messages to be sent outside the domain, and if you want to send external messages, you need to establish a send connector.

Open the ECP management interface, navigate to Mail flow-send Connector, and click New

Enter a name, select the type of send connector, and then click next

Keep the default, next step

Click New

Enter "" in the fully qualified domain name FQDN to indicate that this send connector is applied to messages sent to any domain. Click Save and close.

Next step

Click New

Add two mailbox servers and click OK

Click finish to close

Select the send connector we just created. On the right, you can see that it is already enabled, and the default maximum mail limit is 35MB.

Of course, this value can be modified. Click Edit.

You can modify it according to the situation of the enterprise, and then click Save.

2. Enable circular logging

Exchange logs are growing rapidly, and some enterprises have limited resources, so they often need to clean the logs manually, which is a troublesome thing for administrators and is easy to delete by mistake. In addition, if it is not cleaned up and allowed to grow, at a later stage, if there is not enough disk space, the service will hang up and the mail will not be sent. So here we recommend opening the circular log.

Open the ECP Management Center, navigate to the server-database, select the database to be configured, and click Edit.

In maintenance, there is an option to enable circular logging, tick it, and then click Save

Third, configure external access

If users on the public network want to log in to OWA, we need to configure the external access area, open the ECP management interface, navigate to the server-virtual directory, and then click configure.

Select the client access server that needs to be used with the external URL, then define the external access domain name, and click Save.

Now let's enable several mailboxes to send and receive email. Open the ECP management interface. In the recipient-mailbox, select create a new user mailbox.

In the UI interface, there are two ways to create a new mailbox, one is to create a new mailbox directly in the new user's mailbox, and the other is that the user already has an account in AD, which can be directly enabled here. I am the latter. Click Browse to select the user, and then click Save.

Mailbox created successfully

We open OWA and log in using Test's account

Login successful! Then send an email to the administrator account

Let's log in to our Administrator account again to see if we got the email.

Email sent and received successfully, Exchange Server 2013 deployed successfully!
