Three months after the launch of Windows10, 132 million computers are expected to adopt windows 10, according to data released on Sunday by an analysis provider.

Windows10's share of users rose 1.3 percent to 7.9 percent in October, according to data released today by Web Apps.

Windows10 was launched by Microsoft on July 29th, making October the third full month of free upgrades for Windows7 or Windows8.1 devices that can be downloaded and installed or pre-installed on new devices.

The increase in the share of users in October was slightly lower than the 1.4 per cent increase in September and well below the record 4.8 per cent in August, when a large number of users took advantage of free upgrades.

Windows10 accounted for 8.8% of all Windows devices in October, higher than its initial user share, because Windows accounted for 90.4% of all systems counted by Net Applications, rather than 100%. In October, Windows10's share of all Windows devices increased by 1.5 percentage points.

One number that Microsoft often mentions is that if we assume that there are 1.5 billion Windows devices in the world, the net share of application users will be close to 132 million Windows10PC.

Microsoft has not released its Windows10 number since Oct. 6. At the time, a senior hardware manager at Microsoft said there were 110 million devices running operating systems around the world.

Data shared by Windows10 users. Net Applications shows the same general trend as Irish Stat Counter, another analysis and development company. According to Stat Counter's calculations, Windows10's share of usage increased by 1.4 percent in October, a measure of activity because it calculates page views. But Windows10's share of usage grew more slowly than Net Application's, according to Stat Counter, because the former fixed September growth at 2.4 percent, one percentage point more than in October.

You can also slow down a little bit by using the number of web applications in different ways: in October, an average of 706000 devices were added to Windows10 scrolling every day. In September, there was an average increase of about 794000 equipment per day.

Even so, Windows10 has grown faster than Windows7 in the first three months after its launch. The operating system maintained the record of using the Windows version 10 years ago, and by the third month, it had accumulated 8.2% of Windows PCs. The performance gap between Windows7 and Windows10 narrowed by one point at the end of the two months because the former made impressive progress, as customers bought new computers during and after the 2009 holiday, while personal computers were still flying around the shelves.

Today, there are about 132 million devices running Windows10, and Microsoft accounts for 13.2% of its goal of installing an operating system on 1 billion systems by mid-2018.

If T's Micros T and Windows10 can maintain this speed, it will be a difficult thing. Then, with explosive growth in October, the rate will reach the 1 billion mark in June 2017. Microsoft is doing its best to achieve this goal, including a controversial decision in early 2016 to automatically upgrade Windows10 to Windows7 and Windows8.1 devices for most consumers and small businesses.

Windows10 powers about 132 million personal computers, accounting for 68 per cent of Windows XP and 56 per cent of Windows8/8.1, but still lags far behind Windows7, which still dominates.
