Apple arcade managed to squeeze out another popular surprise for the latest game before the holiday. Named "the Builder's Journey", this is a jigsaw puzzle / adventure game that tells the story of parents and children exploring the mysterious world. This happens if you take Monument Valley and reimagine it with Lego bricks.

03010 is divided into a series of different and lovely levels, just like a western mirror. Each screen is small enough to fit on one screen. You don't need to roll, although you can rotate each level slightly from a different point of view. There are two characters, each made of several Lego blocks (oddly enough, there are no villains in the game). At most stages, the goal is simply to flatten or merge the pairs. Sometimes all you have to do is build a beautiful sand castle. Naturally, you can do this by playing advanced games.

You cannot directly control characters. Instead, in most cases, what you are doing is creating a path and placing them safely somewhere. This may mean building a bridge over a steep river or piecing together a series of slopes so that the character can roll on the skateboard. At first, the premises and questions are simple, because you can guide these two people through a simple wilderness. But the inevitable becomes more complicated. Soon, you will be able to operate strange machines and deal with happy robots.

Like Monument Valley and others, Builder's Journey tells stories entirely through animation and games. No dialogue or narration. It's a simple story, but it's moving forward in its own way. It goes straight into a relaxed atmosphere. Controls can be a bit cumbersome. Sometimes it is difficult for me to put the building blocks exactly where I want them. But beyond that, the builder's travel is a leisurely and intuitive experience.

This is particularly surprising given the company's history, as it is the official product of Lego, which focuses on family-friendly action games based on Builder's Journey and Star Wars. But Harry Potter was developed by a brand new in-house studio, Light Brick, which indicates that we may see more of these experimental Lego games in the future. At the same time, Apple arcade users can view it immediately.
