Find the rpm installation file for vsftpd on the installation disk. Mine is 4 disk, in disk1.

1. Install vsftpd:

# rpm-ivh vsftpd*.rpm

two。 Configure vsftpd:

/ etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf

3. Start vsftpd:

Check that the vsftpd startup-related names have been added to the following file:

/ etc/rc.d/init.d/vsftpd

You can use service to control:

Service vsftpd start | stop | restart | reload | condrestart | status

/ etc/init.d/vsftpd

4. Check if the service is started:

# netstat-an | grep 21

5. Shut down the vsftpd service:

# killall vsftpd

6. About the choice of working mode of vmware network:

The bridging mode is that the network card in vm interconnects with your real network card. At this time, as long as the network card in vmware is configured with the same network segment of the ip address of the network card of the local machine, the same subnet mask can be used.

If host-only is selected, the virtual network card is interconnected with the network card in vm, and the virtual network guest vnet1,vnet8 needs to be configured.
