4. Then use the yum command to install SQL Server directly. The installation command is as follows:

Sudo yum install-y mssql-server

5. Next, you need to run the SQL Server configuration file and then set a strong password for the account. The password should contain uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers or characters:

Sudo / opt/mssql/bin/mssql-conf setup

6. After successfully configuring the SQL Server account configuration information, verify whether the SQL Server is running. Execute the following code to verify it:

Systemctl status mssql-server

7. If you need to use a remote connection, ask the firewall to open TCP 1433. If you use FirewallD, execute the following command to release the port:

Sudo firewall-cmd-zone=public-add-port=1433/tcp-permanentsudo firewall-cmd-reload

Upgrade SQL Server:

If you want to upgrade the SQL Server service, execute the following command in the terminal to upgrade:

Sudo yum update mssql-server

Uninstall SQL Server:

To uninstall SQL Server, execute the following command in the terminal to uninstall:

Sudo yum remove mssql-server

Then delete the installation path of SQL Server:
