"My video."

The content displayed defaults to supported files in the user's My Videos folder (asf; asx; avi; dvr; dvr-MS; m1v; mp2; mp2v;mpa; mpe; mpeg; mpg; mpv2; wm; wmv; wmx;wvx). As with My Pictures, you can add other folders through the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft \Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\MediaFolders\Video.

To enable Media Center to play video in other formats:

Requirement 1: Add the registry key so that MCE can display it. Such registry files have been provided before, but with unnecessary keys. In fact, as long as there is a string value "PercevedType"="video", any file format can be listed in "My Video", which is a sufficient and necessary condition for "My Video" to display various files.

Prerequisite 2: Decoder support. Another condition for MediaCenter to play the file format you add is to install the appropriate decoder so that WMP can play it properly. The method is to install the corresponding format decoder, such as:
