(2) FlexBuilder3 (including SDK and Charting components) Macintosh platform requirements are as follows.

Processors: 1.25GHzPowerPCG4~G5 or Intel series processors

Memory requirements: 1GB

Hard disk requirements: 500MB available hard disk space

Operating system: MacOSXv.10.4.7or10.4.8

Eclipse:Eclipse3.2 (plug-in installation only is supported)

As can be seen from the above requirements, to use FlexBuilder, you must have Java platform support, while plug-in installation requires Eclipse. Therefore, the installation process is more complicated than common IDE, and you need to pay attention to the matching of Java and Eclipse versions.
