Today, Microsoft announced that Windows 11 will be available to more customers in the next phase as it begins a major transformation from Windows 10. When Microsoft launched the Windows 11:00 earlier this month, the company focused on providing the operating system to two specific groups. The first group is the new PC with Windows 11 pre-installed. The second group includes the new Windows 10 PC that are eligible for Windows 11 upgrades from Microsoft.

Starting this week, the company will use its "latest generation machine learning model" to "provide upgrades to more qualified equipment". Microsoft continued: "We recommend that you upgrade your device to Windows 11 to take advantage of the latest features and advanced protection against security threats."

Microsoft encourages everyone with a PC that meets the minimum system requirements of Windows 11 to upgrade as soon as possible to take advantage of all the latest features it provides, including Android application support, and the latest security features. The enhanced security of Windows 11 is achieved by two of the most controversial requirements for Microsoft to install the operating system: TPM 2.0 support and the eighth generation of Intel Core/AMD Ryzen 2000 (or newer) processors.

If you haven't already done so, you can use Microsoft's PC Health Check application to see if your Windows 10 PC meets the criteria for a Windows 11 upgrade. If you haven't downloaded the tool, you'll probably force it to be installed on your system soon with a newly released KB5005463 update. If your PC is approved, Microsoft is likely to provide Windows 11 upgrades to your system soon.

"if you have a qualified device, please open the Windows update settings and choose to check for updates," Microsoft added. "once you are ready to upgrade your device, you will see download and installation options."

Microsoft will continue to adapt its machine learning model to deliver Windows 11 to more Windows 10 PC in the coming months. If all goes according to plan, Windows 11 will be available to all eligible Windows 10 PC in the first half of 2022.
