1. What is a bitmap?

4. Resolution

Resolution has many units and definitions. In the field of images, resolution is an important indicator to measure the quality of pictures. For pictures of the same length and width, the clearer the pictures with higher resolution are, the more memory they occupy. For different carriers, the resolution requirements are also different. The multimedia screen display image resolution is 72 pixels / inch, the general print resolution is 300 pixels / inch, and the high-end album resolution is more than 350 pixels / inch.

Each Photoshop image has one or more channels, and color information about the image is stored in each channel. The default number of channels in the image depends on the color mode of the image.
