This article shares linux's method of checking whether ftp is installed and starting ftp services. The editor thought it was very practical, so I shared it with you as a reference. Let's follow the editor and have a look.

1. Check whether ftp is installed:

Rpm-qa | grep vsftpd

2. Installation instructions: (find a-y instruction)

Yum install-y vsftpd

3. After the installation is completed, perform step 1 to see the version information of ftp.

4. After the installation, start the FTP service:

Service vsftpd start

5. After booting, you can see that the system has listened to port 21:

Netstat-nltp | grep 21

6. Disable anonymous users

Vi / etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf (anonymous_enable=NO-yes changed to no)

7. Restart after saving

Service vsftpd restart

This is how linux checks to see if ftp is installed and starts the ftp service. Have you learned anything after reading it? If you want to know more about it, you are welcome to follow the industry information!
