Since the last two generations of Huawei's flagship P-series products will be released in March, the Huawei P40 always seems to be released in March 2020. Now, the facts have been confirmed, and Richard Li, chief executive of Huawei's consumer division, agrees.

French technology website Frandroid and other French media made the comments in an interview. Yu Minhong made it clear that the phone will be launched at an event in Paris at the end of March.

Although he did not give an exact date, he did share some other details. Obviously, he added that the Huawei P40 will adopt an "unprecedented" design, which shows that it is not only the new look of the series, but also different from any other smartphone.

The Huawei P40 will clearly run Android 10, which covers Huawei's EMUI interface, which runs counter to Huawei's new Hongmeng system, but unless Huawei's ban is overturned, the new phone will not be able to access Google's Play store or other Google services and apps.

This will damage the international appeal of P40. In fact, it is not clear where the telephone can actually be used. However, given that the announcement was made in Paris and the comments were directed at the French media, it seems that France and the rest of Europe may get it.
