First, customer master data

The customer master data is divided into several large pieces, or several levels. General data, sales range data, financial data.

Sales: factory data-related to sales and valid for their respective shipping plants (Delivering Plant)

Others: purchasing, material planning, finance, etc., effective for their respective factories.

1) whether materials from different product groups are allowed to be entered on a sales order

Third, customer / material information recording

Consultants who have done the MM module know that there is a purchasing information record on the purchasing side, defining the relationship (relationship) under the combination of materials and suppliers, purchasing organization factories, etc. There is also similar master data on this side of the sales module, that is, customer material information records.

The comparison between the customer material number and the own material number can be defined through the customer material information record, which is reflected in the Ordering Party tab of the sales order. Shipping information can be defined for specific customers and combinations of materials.

We can let the system automatically read the customer-material information record data in the configuration of the sales order type, as shown below:

Fourth, output master record

The output of sales vouchers uses SAP's famous' conditional technology'. Each OUTPUT Type defines the transmission medium transmission medium, time time, partner function, layout form (SAP Script definition).

5. Incomplete log Incompletion log

You can define in the configuration which Fields will appear in the incomplete log (if the user has not entered it). This feature is available in Sales order and delivery.

Incomplete logging in the SD module is a very important function. The author believes that the sales and other modules of the macro system architecture and system design, although maintain the same style, but in details, the sales module compared with other modules, quite different, for example, very typical is this incomplete log. When the purchasing module creates the relevant documents, the required fields are not entered, the system will report an error, and the business staff cannot save and generate the document number; while the SD module is not in this style, when the relevant required input fields are not fully entered, you can also save the documents and generate the document number, and then SAP will put the fields that do not have a complete input into the incomplete log of the document to facilitate business personnel to continue to enter information.

There are some SD documents, business staff can be very convenient to delete physical, sales orders, delivery documents and other documents, documents can be physically deleted after the creation of documents. And some documents in the MM module, such as purchase requisition, purchase order and so on, once the document number is created successfully, if the business wants to delete these documents, they can only be marked with deletion marks. Ordinary business personnel cannot physically delete these purchase documents.

Sixth, conditional master record Condition master

Price prices/ extra charge / discount surcharges and discounts/ freight freights/ tax taxes and other sales-related conditions, you can maintain condition records to facilitate automatic collection of business documents.

Note: in the configuration, we can define the dependent conditions of price, fee / discount, freight and tax.
