What is apache apollo?

Apache Apollo is a proxy server, which is developed on the basis of ActiveMQ and can support a variety of protocols, such as STOMP, AMQP, MQTT, SSL and so on.

Installation of Apache Apollo

1. Download the installation file

Note: different systems should download different files. The revised article mainly introduces the installation and use on window.

2. Extract the downloaded file to a path:

First open the dos command (cmd), navigate to the directory you want to store, and use the command

Jar-xvf apache-apollo-1.6-windows-distro.zip

Decompress. After decompressing, you can see the corresponding folder apache-apollo-1.6.

3. After step 2, all you can see is an unzipped file, and you need to create a corresponding instance, otherwise it cannot be used. Create an instance:

Go to the bin directory of the extracted file and click apollo.cmd, which will bring up a command box.

B, and then enter the command to create the instance: create the directory / instance name you want to store

C, and then you can see the created instance

4. Click apollo-broker.cmd under the bin directory where the instance is created, and then enter the command run to start the server.

To verify whether there is an error in the process, enter: http://127.0.0.1:61680 or https://127.0.0.1:61681 in the browser (the user name / password defaults to admin/password)

Note: the instance created in the above steps depends on the unzipped server. You cannot delete the extracted files or put them in another directory after creating the instance, otherwise you will not be able to start it.

The created instance files can be copied to other directories (not if you need to install the service to the system).
