In 2008 operating system, to import external Group Policy templates, such as VMware VIEW Group Policy templates, simply right-click in computer configuration-Administrative templates in the Group Policy Editor, select "add / remove templates" and import relevant ADMX files, but in win2012, this method is not feasible and needs to follow these steps:

1. Take the group policy file of horizon7 as an example. After decompressing the zip file, you will see some directories and some admx files, and the directories contain adml files.

2. Select the admx file and the corresponding directory, and select zh-CN if it is in Chinese, as shown above.

3. Copy the selected files to the c:\ windows\ PolicyDefinitions directory of the domain controller.
