These dedicated cloud servers (also known as dedicated instances) are often used when organizations must deploy a custom virtualization layer or alleviate the performance and security problems that multi-tenant cloud servers typically accompany.

CVM leasing provides a variety of computing options with different amounts of processors and memory resources. This enables users to select the instance type that best suits the needs of a particular workload. In addition, you can find cloud server instances that are tailored to unique workload requirements, such as computing optimization instances that contain more processors relative to the amount of memory.

Although traditional physical host leases usually contain some storage, most public cloud servers do not contain storage resources. On the contrary, cloud computing service providers usually provide storage as a separate cloud service. The user provides a storage instance and associates it with the cloud server to save content, such as VM images and application data.
