Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

In centos7, the file save type defaults to the .xfs type. In our daily work, we will back up important data files on a regular basis, sometimes because of operational errors or improper, resulting in file deletion and loss. As long as there is a backup in advance, the original files can be restored through operation.

1. Preparation for the experiment:

1. In the VMware virtual machine, add a 20G disk sbd, partition it into sdb1, format it into .xfs type, and mount it to the / data directory, you can use it normally.

2. Under the data directory, create a passwd file and a directory test (create a file named t01.txt under the test directory) as follows:

2. The experiment begins:

Step 1: back up files using the xfsdump command

Usage: xfsdump-f backup location path or device file to be backed up

Step 2: delete everything in the / data directory

Step 3: use the xfsrestore command to restore files

Usage: the location of xfsrestore-f recovery files, the location of recovered files

Note: restrictions on the use of xfsdump

1. Only mounted file systems can be backed up

2. You must use the permission of root to operate.

3. Only XFS file system can be backed up.

4. The backed up data can only be parsed by xfsrestore

5. Cannot back up two file systems with the same UUID
