This article is about how computers create WIFI hotspots. The editor thinks it is very practical, so share it with you as a reference and follow the editor to have a look.

Tools required:

A computer with a wireless network card (external wireless network card is also fine)

The network card is enabled, and the system is Win7 or Win8.

Step one

Click the start in the lower left corner of the computer, and type cmd in the search program and file bar.

Find the Windows command processor cmd.exe in the above figure, and right-click to select run as administrator

Win8 users can directly Win+X, and then press A to enter.

Step two

After opening it, enter the command: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=dcn key=12345678

Mode: whether to enable the virtual WiFi network card, change to disallow is prohibited.

Ssid: wireless network name, recommended in English. (this section is dcn as an example, which can be set freely)

Key: wireless network password, limited to more than eight characters. (take 12345678 as an example here, which can be set freely)

Press enter to run after entering the command.

Step three

After running successfully, open the Network and sharing Center and click on the left to change the adapter settings.

If you enter the adapter setting, you will find that there is an extra virtual wireless network connection with the network card "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter". For convenience, you can rename the wireless network connection to the wifi hotspot. If you are successful, please take a look at step 4.

If it does not appear, try entering netsh wlan start hostednetwork at the command prompt, and if so, proceed to step 3. If it still doesn't show up, you can only update the network card driver and try it from scratch.

Step 4

In the network connection, right-click the network connection that is connected to the Internet, select "Properties" → "share", check "allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection (N)" and select "wifi hotspot". Once confirmed, the word "shared" appears next to the icon of the network card that provides sharing, indicating that the "broadband connection" has been shared to the "wifi hotspot". If you succeed, please go straight to the next step.

If you are a student in school and the network is limited, you can search your school forum for how to count and use the router. The network connection in this step must be unlimited and can be connected to the Internet. If you do not need to share the network, only share resources, you do not have to do this step.

Step 5

Continue to enter: netsh wlan start hostednetwork at the command prompt and press enter to run.

Here is a little trick, you can create a new open wifi.txt on the desktop, type netsh wlan start hostednetwork inside, and then rename the open wifi.txt to open wifi.bat, similarly create a new closed wifi.txt, enter netsh wlan stop hostednetwork in it, and then rename the closed wifi.txt to turn off wifi.bat as a shortcut switch (renaming ignores the system prompt).

Step 6

Finally, the WiFi hotspot has been set up and activated, use the devices that support WiFi to search the wireless network you have established (such as dcn), enter the password you set up by yourself (such as 12345678), and you can share the Internet. If you want to close, you can run "close wifi.bat" as an administrator, and to turn it on, run "turn on wifi.bat" as an administrator.
