First, use ifconfig to check the name of the Nic corresponding to the IP of the lower public network. Here, you can see that it is eth2, then use ifdown eth2, and then test the IP of the public network under ping, which cannot be ping.

The method of disabling Public Network Card in Windows

The Windows host can run-enter cmd and ipconfig to view the Nic information of the public network IP. In the following figure, you can see that the public network card is a local connection 2.

Then open Control Panel > Network and sharing Center > change adapter settings to disable local connection 2. Then local to the server for ping test, can not do ping communication.
