Today, I got the rpm installation package and linence given by the service provider, and the developer is also pressing for it, so install the configuration immediately. 1. Prepare before installation:

(1) modify Linux-related configuration files, sysctl.conf, limit.conf, hosts and other files.

(2) configure the network, close the fire prevention, and pack the yum. -package according to the time you install MySQL

(3) upload rpm installation package.

2. Start the installation

(1) in order to show the actual operation steps, take all the screenshots and add instructions:

A. Install infobright-migrator before installing the InfoBright rpm package

Command: rpm-ivh package name

B. Check the process information of InfoBright, which clearly shows the relevant information of InfoBright.

C. Start moving the original data to a new directory where the data is stored:

D. View the generated files under basedir and modify permissions.

E. Modify the permissions of the data file directory, give a hint: especially the file marked below, brighhouse.ini file, if not modified, InfoBright will not be able to start

F. Modify configuration file / etc/my-ib.cnf

At present, the main thing here is to modify the four parameters basedir and datadir socket port and adjust them to what we want.

Since the default port used by MySQL is 3306, I use 3307 here, and then change all the ports involved in the file to 3307.

G. Initialize InfoBright

This step must be done, which tells InfoBright to use the new relevant configuration and path now.

But I found one thing. Some people on the Internet said it was running.

Cd infobright

. / install-infobright.sh

But I haven't found this file for a long time, and I don't have this file every time I install it, so I think this initialization file is the same as that used by MySQL, under scripts.

H. Start InfoBright: this file is automatically generated during installation.

Tip: to mention here, if you are installing the Enterprise Edition (Commercial Edition), you must provide Licence or it will not start.

It will prompt you to copy the licence file under basedir

I. Add InfoBright to the parameter file so that you don't need to go to InfoBright's bin directory to log in.

J. Log in to InfoBright: you don't need a password to log in for the first time, you can log in directly.

K. Displays the original database that comes with MySQL, and can be accessed remotely by modification.

L. Change the password of the root user, and l will take effect immediately.

M. Create the database zhanglin and create the table zhanglin under the database zhanglin:

N. The employee can check the relevant information of the table zhang, or under the command line.
