Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
Overview of experiment
Topic:
. How the client accesses
. Demo: achieve MAPI,POP3,HTTP access
. Secure client access
. Demo: secure access to the client
Client access method (1)
.MAPI access
1. It is customized by Microsoft for Exchange Server, and it is also the client access method recommended by Microsoft for Exchange.
two。 Microsoft Office Outlook must be installed on the client (2007 and 2010)
3. The client uses MAPI to access Exchange is a dynamic port
Local messages for the 4.MAPI client are stored in the * .ost cache file, which is consistent with the Exchange server-side database.
5.MAPI clients should do regular archiving
1.MAPI message found 2. Email Archive 3. Manual archiving 4. Automatic archiving 5. Set up automatic archiving through group policy
Client access method (2)
.POP3 access-SMTP
1. The most commonly used email receiving protocol on the public network.
two。 By default, the message is received locally in * .pst. When the message is received locally, the server-side data is deleted.
3.PST file size is limited (OutLook XP:2GB;Office 2003 Personality 2007 7GB Japan Office 2010:50GB)
The 4.POP3 protocol only receives inbox messages locally.
5. The Exchange POP3 service is not enabled by default
OWA changes the picture path C:\ program files\ microsoft\ exchange server\ v14\ client access\ owa\ 14.2.247\ thems\ sources
Because of the MAPI way of sending email, the ports connected to Outlook and Exchange are dynamic, so if users need to blog on the public network,
Let the client access Exchange through MAPI.
In Exchange 2007 and 2010, dynamic ports can be encapsulated into fixed ports of HTTPS, Outlook Anywhere
POP3-110 (default) POP3S:995 (POP3 encrypted port)
SMTP-25 SMTPS:25,ISA/TMG, Exchange
Client access method (3)
.OWA visit
1. By default, Exchange can only be accessed through HTTPS.
two。 The user OWA login interface can DIY according to the situation of the company.
3. In a login program, use the difference between a public computer and a private computer
4. On the login interface, the Ooutlook web applight option
5.OWA needs the format of "domain name\ user name" when authenticating.
Experimental process
"how to access Exchange Server 2010 clients"
Experiment 1: use MAPI to access 2 pages of mailbox
Experiment 2: use POP3 to access 17 pages of mailbox
Method 1: 17 pages
Method 2: 30 pages
Experiment 3: use OWA to access 35 pages of mailbox
Experimental environment: there are three virtual machines: one DC, one Exchange Server 2010, and one client
Work environment: domain environment
Server operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2, client operating system: Windows 7
Note: all 64-bit systems
Hardware requirements:
1. Memory
Server fuck: DC needs 2G or more memory, Exchange Server 2010 memory needs 4G or more, the bigger the better.
Client: 2G is enough, but 4G is even better.
CPU
Server: i5 or I7 CPU processing speed: 7200 rpm / s or above
Client: i3 is fine, cpu processor speed: 5400 rpm / s is fine.
3. Hard disk
Server: DC needs 30 gigabytes and 50 gigabytes, and Exchange Server 2010 needs hard drives with an angle of 500 gigabytes or 1T, which is based on the actual demand.
These are all hardware requirements. Let's talk about the basic preparation before the experiment.
DC- domain controller
IP:192.168.2.10/24
Default gateway: 192.168.2.254
Preferred DNS:192.168.2.10
Exchange Server 2010-Mail Server
IP:192.168.2.3/24
Default gateway: 192.168.2.254
Preferred DNS:192.168.2.10
Client-windows 7
IP:192.168.2.8/24
Default gateway: 192.168.2.254
Preferred DNS:192.168.2.10
Experiment 1: use MAPI to access mailbox
Both Exchange Sever 2010 and windows 7 need to join the domain environment. The domain name is contoso.com.
In the previous second lesson: during the deployment of Exchange Server 2010, Exchange Server 2010 has been joined to the domain, so I won't demonstrate it here.
How Windows 7 is joined to the domain environment
View the IP address information of DC
View IP address information for Exchange Server 2010
View the client's IP address information
Test the connectivity of the network
Join the client to the domain environment
View computers joined to the domain in computers in DC
View the users in the computer
Now log in with Marry on the client side
After the user joins the domain environment, now take a look at the IP address information.
Now use OWA to access the mailbox on DC
Click "continue to visit the website"
If not, please add this website address below
As shown in the following figure: enter a trusted website address
Now log in with your Jack account
Let's start creating a new mailbox in the mailbox account of Jack.
After the mailbox is created, click send
Next, click Microsoft Outlook 2010 to access the mailbox, but only if you install office 2010 beforehand. I won't demonstrate how to install office 2010 here. Here is to create a new mailbox with Marry account.
Follow the wizard to complete the new message step by step
I didn't do anything here, but the next step is to find the name and email address of the email and fill in it automatically, which is very convenient, so it's very easy for the client.
If the certificate is installed, the following information will not appear
In this way, the installation of mail is completed, and it is very simple.
Click "OK" below
Click "Yes" below
This is the mailbox of Marry. You can see that this mailbox is accessed by MAPI.
Next, delete the test4 and test5 mailboxes on the DC side.
When we go back to the client, we find that there are two emails missing. We can see that the mailbox of Exchange Server 2010 can synchronize emails.
How about I delete an email on the client and then check it on DC?
Found that there is a missing email on the DC side, it is really completely synchronized.
Experiment 2: use POP3 to access mailboxes
Method 1:
Before starting the POP3 experiment, let's go to the control panel and delete the Maryy email, as shown below:
Click "delete"
Click Microsoft Outlook 2010 below, and then add the identifier of the file, as shown below:
Next click on the next step
Select the manual configuration server settings option here, as shown in the following figure:
You need to add these configurations manually here.
Next, add a host record to the DC, as follows:
After filling in the account information below, click Test user Settings
Found that the test failed
Let's test it with the telnet command and find that the telnet client is not installed. Add the telnet client to the control panel.
After installing the telnet client program, the following tests show that the domain name mail.contoso.com can be found, but still cannot connect
Next, go to Exchange Server 2010 to change the POP3 service from manual to automatic, and then restart the service.
Now I find that there is no problem with telnet.
There is a mistake like this.
After clicking "OK", it is found that the error is still reported.
Next, go to the client access in the configuration of the server above Exchange Server 2010 to find the option "POP3 and IMPA4".
Then, in the authentication of POP3, change the login method here to plain text login (login without encryption)
Next, restart the POP3 service.
Now it is found that there is no problem with POP3, but there is something wrong with SMTP.
Next, find the option default vbers2 in the hub. The default setting is the port of the public network and the transmission mode of the public network.
Next, check the option "Anonymous user" in the permission group.
Then disable the object, and then start the object again in order for it to take effect immediately
Now it is found that there is no problem with the test.
Click finish below
This is Marry's mailbox.
Method 2:
Delete the Marry mailbox and start the second login method.
Or click Microsoft Outlook 2010 and then click New Identifier
Note that the option "anonymous users" should be removed from the permission group before testing (note: it is the permission group in the hub configuration option), and then click Test account Settings to make sure this option is removed.
OK, you can be sure that this check has been removed.
Click "other Settings" below
As shown in the following figure: find in the sending server to use the same settings as the receiving mail server
Then change the encryption type to "automatic" in the advanced options below
Click "Yes" below
It is found that there is no problem with the test below.
OK, email configuration is complete
Here is Marry's email address.
Experiment 3: using OWA to access mailbox
Enter the address of mailbox access below: https:\ vbers2.contoso.com\ owa
Click below to continue to visit the website.
I use my Jack account to log in now.
After logging in, as shown in the following figure
Let me first change the way I log in-just enter the user name directly and then log in.
It is shown as follows: the login field here cannot be added manually and must be obtained by visiting.
As follows:
Click "OK"
Enter the name directly below to access the mailbox
Found that the access was successful
So far, the experiment on client mailbox access has been completed, which basically meets the expected requirements!
Experiment completion time: February 23, 2014 pm 15:16
Experimental subjects: vbers
Feel a little useful, although I did not use, if you want to build Exchange 2010 mailbox, you can use it for reference, share it, there is nothing to say
