The replication principle of 1.SharePlex is 1.1. Basic structure

1.2. Data capture

1.3. Data transmission

SharePlex combines its own network protocol and TCP/IP protocol to complete the data transmission between the source and target systems. SharePlex queues include capture, export, post, and processes have capture, read, export, import, and post. The roles of these queues and processes in the replication process are as follows.

On the source system:

The Capture process reads Online Redo Log or Archive Log and sends the replicated data to the Capture queue

The Read process reads the contents of the Capture queue, prepares the data to be transmitted, and puts it into the Export queue.

The Export process transfers replication data to the target system over the network

On the target system:

The Import process receives replication data and transmits it to Post Queue

The Post process reads the Post Queue, creates the SQL statement for the operation, and executes it on the target system.
