II. Ad Domain Controller deployment Wizard

1) Open the server manager, click the small flag in the upper right corner, and click to promote the server to a domain controller

2) since it is the first AD controller, click add the new forest, enter the domain name sunliming.cn at the root domain name, and click next

# add domain controller to existing domain: add a new domain controller to the existing domain controller

# add a new domain to an existing forest: create a new domain in the existing forest, different from the existing domain in the forest

3) enter the directory service restore password and click next

Domain Controller options:

Forest functional level (including Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016): Windows Server 2016

Domain functional level (Windows Server 2016 domain features only): Windows Server 2016

Specify domain controller function: default

Type the directory service restore mode (DSRM) password (complex password is required): *

4) Click the next step

5) click the next step

NETBIOS domain name: the computer name is used to identify the computer in the network, just like the name of a person.

When you start the computer, the system registers a unique NetBIOS name on the network, that is, the computer name you see on the network.

6) click the next step

AD DS database, log folder and sysvol folder, which are recommended to be placed on other disks for security reasons

7) click the next step

8) install at one point, and the system will restart automatically after completion.

9) enter the system after reboot. When the AD is deployed successfully, click the tools-Active Directory users and computers to view the deployed domain

10) AD domain deployment completed
