Looking at it, Xiaochuan's mind returned to his student days. The deep memory of my student days is not study, not exams, but long-distance running. Know the integration long in advance, because the plan is to integrate every two weeks. Then I reluctantly watched the day of integration come. This is because integration is a painful thing, starting at 01:00 on Monday afternoon, and if you don't encounter any problems, it can be done in half a day. But it's almost impossible to finish it in half a day, and I don't know how long it will take. Generally speaking, Monday night, oh no, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, I have to be busy until one or two o'clock. Get up late on Tuesday morning and come to the company to continue to work. Well, if all goes well, the version will be available by Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning. Of course, it often doesn't go well. I have to work on Thursday and keep doing it. Generally speaking, it can be done by Friday before getting off work, and you can go home and get a good night's sleep. But not necessarily. The most unlucky one so far was the week before last week, which was finished on Sunday morning, and almost got into it all weekend.

In fact, the situation is getting worse and worse. I remember it was good at the beginning of the project. At that time, his master took him to do it with him. It was in the sunny early autumn. The development team is not big yet, and there are few submissions for each integration. The merger is fast, and it's not easy to go wrong. Then the compilation time is still short, only 10 or 20 minutes. And when it goes well, it will be compiled once and passed. Of course, there are links, installation packages, creating baselines, etc., although there are many steps, but they are relatively fast, and it is not easy to encounter problems. Once, it was all finished in more than a day. Master said, once you have finished your study, you will be able to work independently. I was happy at that time. However, Master also said that with his experience, it will become more and more bitter. Now it seems that this is indeed the case.

Why did you get such a crappy job? Xiaochuan thought that he was really unlucky. But if you think about it again, there's nothing you can do about it. When I was in college, I didn't major in computer science. Now it is not easy to engage in software development related work in such a company of some size. There's nothing else to pick.

When Xiaochuan was in college, he majored in physics. The reason for applying for the physics major is that when I was in high school, I liked physics very much. I like physics very much, maybe because I was so good at physics at that time. Take part in the physics competition and win the first prize in the city. At that time, I wanted to devote my whole life to physics and be a scientist! But when I went to college, I was sent to graduate school, and slowly, I didn't seem to like physics so much. It is mainly because it is very difficult for physics to make new developments and breakthroughs. Well, it may also be because studying physics makes it difficult to find a job in the future. Whatever the reason, when Xiaochuan used computer programming to simulate a physics experiment, he realized that he actually preferred computers and was a fast learner. So, when you graduate in the future, find a job related to computer programming. Colleagues sitting in Xiaochuan's seat resolved the version merger conflict.
