WindML provides two types of font drivers

First, BMF, whose full name should be Bitmapped Monochrome Font, shows that it is a monochromatic bitmap font (Bitmap Font).

This font driver uses dot matrix fonts, which are the most common fonts in VxWorks. BMF is relatively easy to make. WindRiver provides dozens of BMF, including italics, bold, etc., with a font size range of 8-24. This font is characterized by its small size and high drawing efficiency. It is still very practical for embedded devices with small screens, but its function is too single.

Different vector fonts can support more functions, such as various font sizes

Support text rotation at any angle

Some support hinting and kerning, but these features are not effective in large font sizes.
