Exchange 2019 deployment implementation case

Prerequisite preparation

The forest functional level of our domain is required to be at least 2012R2, and the patches for our servers must be updated and added domains are completed.

Mount the Exchange installation media, open CMD as an administrator, switch to installation path 4.2, refer to step 2 in the link, and use the command in the following screenshot to prepare the AD operation. The green area in the picture is for us to enter an organization name. The default name is "First Organization".

In the same operation, mount the Exchange installation media, open CMD as an administrator, change to installation path 2, refer to step 3 in the link, and use the command in the screenshot below to prepare the AD domain.

5. First, let's open the Exchange Server 2019 installation media and double-click the "Setup.exe" file

5.1. In the "whether to check for updates" interface, you can choose according to the actual needs.

5.2 introduction interface directly click "next"

5.3 the license agreement interface selects to accept the agreement according to the screenshot and click "next"

5.4 similarly, it is recommended that the setting interface be selected according to your own needs.

5.5.The role interface refers to the screenshot and selects "MailBox" role.

To highlight, Microsoft's Exchange Server 2010 version (including 2010) had five roles, and all five roles could be deployed separately. After Exchange Server 2013, it became three roles, the original UM role was cancelled, and the HUB role and CAS role merged into CAS. However, after Exchange Server 2016, the three roles of Ex2013 have merged again and become the two roles they are now: the MailBox role and the Eage role.

Choose the installation location, it is strongly not recommended to install Exchange Server to the system disk, it is recommended to install to a drive letter other than the system disk.

5.7 malware is actually not very useful, to be honest, the effect is really a little poor, according to the actual needs, I will not use it.

5.8. The next step is a prerequisite check. As shown in the picture, my side has already met the prerequisites, so just click "install".

5.9. The installation is complete, about one and a half hours or so.

6. Install the completed configuration
