Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

This article will explain in detail what is the method of viewing cloud disk usage, IOPS and throughput. Xiaobian thinks it is quite practical, so share it with you for reference. I hope you can gain something after reading this article.

View cloud disk monitoring information

When using cloud disk, you need to pay attention to the following two performance indicators:

IOPS: Input/Output Operations per Second, i.e. the number of I/Os that can be processed per second, is used to indicate the ability of block storage to process reads and writes (output/input). If you are deploying a transaction-intensive application, you need to focus on IOPS performance.

Throughput: refers to the amount of data that can be successfully transmitted per unit time, in MBps. If you want to deploy a large number of sequential read-write applications, you need to focus on throughput.

You can view IOPS and throughput monitoring information of a single cloud disk in a specified time period on the ECS console. If you install the Cloud Monitor plug-in for ECS instances mounted on cloud disks, you can also monitor cloud disk usage, IOPS, and throughput in Cloud Monitor.

View the monitoring information of IOPS and throughput of specified cloud disk on ECS management console. The steps are as follows:

Log in to ECS Management Console.

In the left navigation bar, select Storage> Cloud Disk.

Select the region.

Find the cloud disk for which you want to view monitoring information, click the disk ID to enter the disk details page.

In the left navigation bar, click Disk Monitor Information.

On the Disk Monitoring Information page, click the icon to set the start and end times for monitoring information. You can view cloud disk performance monitoring information at intervals of up to 15 days.

View IOPS and throughput information for cloud disks.
