Chinese language Pack installation

First of all, you need to install Chineselanguage package support for Ubuntu16.04.

Click on the Install/Remove Languages in the above picture. This dialog box pops up through the system settings- > Language Support selection.

And then in Install/Remove Languages... Install the Chinese language pack in the pop-up dialog box:

Ibus input method installation

After the Chinese language pack is installed, you need to install the ibus input method. You need to enter it in Terminal:

Sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-clutter ibus-gtk ibus-gtk3 ibus-qt4

To install the ibus framework.

Im-config-s ibus

Switch to the ibus frame. Then install the Pinyin engine:

Sudo apt-get install ibus-pinyin

Then call up ibus Preference to add the pinyin input method:

Sudo ibus-setup

In the pop-up dialog box

Add Chinese-Pinyin input method. In this way, the ibus Pinyin input method is installed and configured.

The most important step: restart the Ubuntu system.
