1. Ping command

Open the cmd command (start-run-enter cmd, enter to enter; or function key + R, call up the run window), take the domain name as an example, enter: ping www.west.cn enter, you can get the following results:

As can be seen from the picture, 61.139.126.229 is the domain name IP address.

2. Nslookup command

Also in the cmd command interface, typing nslookup will first return our own DNS server address and IP address

Then enter: www.west.cn

You can get the content of the above figure: addresses information, aliases information. Addresses even if the domain name corresponds to the IP address, there are two, the first is the address of IPv6, and the second is the address of IPv4. Aliases, on the other hand, verifies that the domain names of websites are consistent.

The data recorded on the DNS server is called a resource record (RR). There are many different types of resource records, the most important of which is the A record, which represents the correspondence between the "host name" and the "IP" address and is used to convert the domain name into an IP address. By default, nslookup queries the A record.
