What is GlobalSSH?

In order to help users solve such problems, UCloud officially launched SSH acceleration (GlobalSSH) in June 2018. GlobalSSH aims to solve problems such as stutter in SSH commands caused by multinational network jitter, unstable transfer rate, file transfer failure, and so on.

The results show that the domestic CVM initiates a connection to the Los Angeles host in the United States, and GlobalSSH can reduce the connection latency from 177ms to 157ms, reducing the connection delay by about 13%.

In addition to greatly improving the transmission rate, with the help of UCloud's self-developed PathX and intelligent scheduling technology, GlobalSSH can also greatly reduce the packet loss rate and network jitter, making the terminal respond faster, thus avoiding the problem of inputting a character that will not be displayed for a long time.

Easy to access and no need to change

The use of GlobalSSH is very simple, you only need to create an instance of SSH acceleration in the UCloud console and enter the server IP that needs to be accelerated.

After the instance is created, a domain name similar to 128.1.38.240.pathx.ucloudgda.com is generated. Using this domain name as the host for ssh access, you can get a stable SSH access experience, such as ssh root@128.1.38.240.pathx.ucloudgda.com.

Flexible billing and low cost

The fee for an GlobalSSH instance is only 60 CNY / month, and the traffic fee generated is 2 CNY / GB (it is settled in the early morning of the next day according to the traffic usage of the day, which is not free for 1GB). In addition, users can also choose to pay annually / monthly / on time flexibly according to their actual needs.
