Shulou(Shulou.com)06/03 Report--
Today, what the editor shares with you is the method of performance monitoring of CVM. I believe many people do not know much about it. In order to make you understand better, I have summarized the following contents and let's take a look at the following. I'm sure you'll get something.
1.vmstat command
The vmstat command is meant to show the status of virtual memory, but it can report on the overall running status of the system, such as processes, memory, and so on. Get data every 2 seconds # > vmstat 2
2.pidstat command
The pidstat command is used to monitor independent tasks (processes) managed by the Linux kernel. It outputs information about each task managed by the kernel. The pidstat command can also be used to monitor the children of a particular process. The interval parameter is used to specify the interval between each report.
Using pidstat without any parameters is equivalent to adding the-p parameter, but only active tasks are displayed.
3.uptime command
The uptime command can see how long the system has been running and the average load of the system. The information displayed is as follows: the current time, how long the system has been running, how many login users are currently, and the average load of the system in the past 1 minute, 5 minutes and 15 minutes.
4. There are other instructions.
"sar-n DEV 1" can check the throughput of network devices, and throughput can determine whether it is saturated or not, which is an important indicator to check the performance of the server.
"sar-n TCP,ETCP 1" is used to view the status and number of TCP connections. Among them, the number of connections in TCP can be used to judge the performance of the server, as well as who is the active connection and who is the passive connection.
"Iostatb-xz 1" is mainly used to check the disk IO of the server to see if it is running at full load.
"Dmesg | tail" is used to output and view logs, which can help us troubleshoot performance problems.
This is the end of the method of implementing performance monitoring on CVM. I hope the above content can be of some reference value to everyone and can be put into practice. If you like this article, you might as well share it for more people to see.
