Cluster creation:

Test cluster node configuration: must pass the test and retain the test report

Create: define the DNS name and IP address used by the cluster for management

Cluster role: highly available services supported by the current cluster, requiring all nodes to install the same service

The default environment cluster supports that when a service is highly available, define the shared storage disk for the service, with each service occupying a unique shared disk

Hyper-V clustering: each virtual machine in the cluster is defined as an independent service, which conflicts exclusively with the disk letter of the traditional cluster. Cluster shared volumes (CSV) must be configured to enable multiple virtual machines to use shared storage locations.

Create a new virtual machine directly in the cluster

Existing virtual machine import & P2V:

Fast migration: virtual machine disconnected

Live migration: continuously open connections during migration

Storage migration: migrate the storage location of the virtual machine (VHDX file location)

Failover: when a node fails

The VHD file must be copied to the cluster shared volume

New virtual machine-Select an existing disk

You must "export" the original virtual machine and copy the exported folder to the cluster shared volume.

Use the Hyper-V console to import the virtual machine into the specified node

After the import is complete, in Cluster Administrator-roles-configure roles-virtual machines-configure high availability for existing virtual machines

P2V:Disk to VHDx converts the entire disk of the physical machine into a VHD file

Virtual machine migration and failover:

Virtual machine configuration: configure virtual machine high availability: the virtual machine must be saved in the folder of the cluster shared volume

Network load balancing

SLB: application-based load balancing

Container: for applications based on stateless data in containers, load balancing must be considered

Solution based on Microsoft S2D

Must be created in a failover cluster environment
