I remember that when I first came into contact with performance testing in 2007, after working at that time, I bought a few books and often looked at them on the 51testing forum, but I could not understand many questions. As I continued to read books, I also installed the performance testing tool LoadRunner. Through many tests and hands-on, I mastered the use of the performance testing tool LoadRunner, but it was not enough to master this tool only. After all, the era of LoadRuner experts has passed. Combined with the help documentation of loadrunner to learn some functions of loadruner, and then to learn the knowledge of monitoring tools and operating system. After learning Loadruner, I learned the linux operating system, installed a virtual machine and learned linux. At that time, I worked in a state-owned enterprise. I basically went to bed around 2 o'clock on Wednesday night, learning some knowledge of operating system and database. Now think about it, at that time, I really tried my best (not what it used to be). Of course, I was more interested. At this time, the company happened to have a project to conduct a performance test, and I happened to be the leader of the functional test at that time. I certainly didn't want to lose this exercise opportunity, so I communicated with the leader. I worked overtime on weekends and evenings to do the performance test. After more than a month of efforts, the performance test was over. In my opinion, it was mainly the application of theory to practice. I did not expect that this result was praised by the leaders (perhaps not many people in the company knew about performance testing at that time). At the end of the year, excellent employees received an extra 1 yuan, of course, this is not the most important thing. The important thing is that I have practical experience, and slowly I have come into contact with more project performance tests, but this is not a full-time performance test. By chance, I changed jobs. Become a full-time performance testing project, mainly engaged in the outsourcing of bank projects. I have grown a lot and exercised a lot in this process. In this process, I keep finding and summing up. I will teach myself to supplement what I lack. (in this process, I probably bought more than 1000 yuan of books, more than the books of our current testing department. There is an explanation of testing tools, operating system (linux/aix), database, middleware) continue to accumulate, continue to precipitate, continue to summarize, continue to learn!

1. Performance testing is a technical task, so it is more suitable for people who like to delve into technology, especially to do a good job in performance testing.

2. Before learning, we should understand the purpose, value and significance of performance testing.

3. Understand the process of performance testing, for example, first understand that performance testing is divided into several steps, and then learn what to do and how to do each step.

4. Strong technology is needed as backing, such as operating system, middleware, database, network, etc.

5. A person's technical ability is limited, so we should communicate more, share knowledge and communicate with each other.
