Now many places and places provide free WIFI. When using free WIFI, we should pay attention to several aspects, such as equipment security, network security, use security and so on.

(1) equipment is safe.

Mobile devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, iPAD tablets or iPhone phones, do not "jailbreak", Android devices do not root. Because devices after "jailbreak" or root are running with system privileges. Devices after root can easily be placed into * * or * * programs.

(2) when not using the network, please turn off the WIFI switch of the mobile phone, especially when outdoors or passing through unsafe areas, do not turn on the switch of WIFI to prevent the device from automatically connecting illegal WIFI or phishing WIFI with the same name and without key. For example, the wireless hotspot in our school is "Hebei University of Economics and Economics", and you don't need a password to connect. My mobile phone records this hot spot. If somewhere else off campus, a user sets up a WIFI hotspot called Hebei University of Economics and Economics and does not need a connection password. So, if my phone turns on WIFI, when passing through this illegal hotspot, the phone will automatically connect to this hotspot. On the other hand, the person who provides this illegal hot spot will get the information about connecting to the mobile phone, and if there is a loophole in the mobile phone system, it will be * and implanted.

Most of the WIFI provided by airports, hotels, schools and shopping malls do not have a password. If someone else builds their own route, use these names, and if your phone saves a WIFI name with the same name, it will automatically connect.

If your phone sets up photos to be automatically synchronized, updated, and uploaded, this information will be uploaded to the computer that provides illegal WIFI.

In crowded buses and restaurants, prevent some from using the "phishing WIFI" provided by 3G routers. After they set up WIFI hotspots, personal information will be collected if others connect.

(3) remember the name of the public WIFI, the name of the WIFI is divided into case and numerical information, pay attention to case, spaces and other information. If you have multiple WIFI names with similar names in the same area, such as Shijiazhuang, ShiJiaZhuang, shijiazhuang, and so on, be careful.

(4) prevent public WIFI from being overwritten by stronger signal and illegal WIFI.

(5) guard against WIFI relay. If you are on the "edge" of a public WIFI, or if your cell phone signal is too weak to connect directly to a public WIFI, guard against "devices" that provide WIFI relays. These WIFI relay devices, one end is connected to the public WIFI, and the other end provides services. Your phone is connected to a public, legitimate WIFI through a relay, but your information is relayed through this "relay" device. During this period, your online records and login information will be collected, saved or forwarded by the relay device. When using "relay", the IP address, gateway and DNS obtained by the mobile phone are provided by the correct WIFI, and the authentication information is also provided by the correct authentication server, so this method is deceptive.

(6) if you receive mobile phone text messages or pop-up web pages in the process of browsing web pages, including Internet banking information to change passwords, correct dynamic tokens and U shields, please directly close these websites or ignore these text messages. If you are not at ease, you can use your mobile phone to dial the official number of the corresponding bank. Do not log on to the website or online bank. If you want to verify, some fake online banking sites, you can enter the card number, password to log in.

(7) when using public WIFI, pay attention when receiving the mobile phone verification code. Be sure to remember the difference between your common online bank CAPTCHA and the public WIFI CAPTCHA.

So is it safe to connect to a public, legitimate WIFI? This is not necessarily true.

For example, if you are connected to a public WIFI,*** and are also connected to the same WIFI, the * * person belongs to the same network as you. In the same network, people can easily eavesdrop on your online content, including uploaded photos, Weibo, chat messages and so on.

There are two ways for the same local area network * *, one is ARP***, and the other is the promiscuous mode listening of the network card, which can receive all broadcast traffic in the network.

(8) when using the free WIFI, you can browse the web, watch videos and other operations that have nothing to do with security, but do not log in to the Internet bank, transfer money, mobile payment and other operations, light information leakage, heavy user name login password lost, falsely used by others, loss of property.

(9) when using free WIFI, do not download and install software of unknown origin.
