Before installation, we first carve the image file of Red Hat 7 into a USB disk for later installation of linux on the physical machine. We use the software UltraISO to engrave the tool. UltraISO software can be downloaded from Baidu!

Open the software

Select the ISO for Red Hat 7, and then double-click OK.

Select the write hard disk image in startup

Click to write

Let's take a look at the physical machine: since the partition format of our linux is different from that of windows, we leave some space for liunx. This windows 7 has been installed, and the main partition is on disk C. Then we reboot and install the liunx system.

Enter the startup item of the flash drive and install the system that we have carved into the flash drive. Different brands of computers may have different startup items on USB flash drives.

Enter to confirm the installation

Choose Chinese.

Select installation location

Choose the hard drive of our computer. Then check that I want to configure the partition. Note: selecting automatic configuration of partitions will remove windows 7 from the system.

Start the installation!

The installation is complete.

After the installation is complete, linux will be the default first startup item, so we need to go to PE to change windows 7 to the first startup item.

Select the disk where the system is located, because my system has disk C, so I choose C.

When we get here, it's almost over. After the system fixes the boot, it will be forced to change windows 7 to the first startup item. Restart and choose to enter windows 7. Install EasyBCD software, add startup items for linux, so that we can choose which system to boot.

It has been configured by this point. Let's restart it and take a look.

Configured here, some friends may ask, why can't I mount linux? What's going on?

It cannot be mounted because the mount package of linux is not imported into the linux system, which leads to the mount failure. At this time, we have to use a software, WinSCP, to copy the iso to the linux system through SFTP.

Configure the IP address in the linux system to ensure that it can be ping to the local machine

Copy the iso of Red Hat 7 to the / home directory in linux.

After the copy is complete, configure the auto-mount command in / etc/fstab

Vi / etc/yum.repos.d/1.repo

Mount-a # mount

Yum makecache # Update yum
